Over 2 million Americans have already been diagnosed with cancer just this year - that’s over 5,800 new cases every single day. Despite these staggering numbers, progress is at risk. Critical funding for cancer research faces significant cuts, leaving scientists without the resources they need to continue promising studies, many of which output groundbreaking treatments and lifesaving advances. The fight against cancer is far from over, and without urgent action, we risk losing momentum at the very moment when hope has never been closer.

Please consider supporting our annual Holly Ball gala, an evening dedicated to raising funds to support groundbreaking research in cancer treatment, on Friday, December 4, 2026, at the Claremont Country Club. Your support in underwriting the Holly Ball enables us to give 100% of the event’s net proceeds directly to vital cancer research projects and organizations that help those affected by cancer. This year’s Holly Ball celebrates the Cancer League’s history, inspired by our founding year 1973, and the impact we continue to make together. It’s going to be a groovy night of disco, honoring our founding members and featuring event favorites like our prestigious auction and dancing with special guest live band - The Cheeseballs!
